The British-French supersonic airliner belongs to the most spectacular airplane developments of the last years. On 2 March 1969 the first flight of this supersonic air liner manufactured by British aircraft corporation and Aerospatiale took place, the line flying operation starting from at the beginning of of 1976 was taken up (transatlantic and Middle East air traffic).
The Concorde has four Olympus of 593 engines (ever 17,000 kp thrust) and achieves a max. cruising speed of Mach 2,04. Max. range: 6,580 km, passenger capacity: 128-144 persons
