This farmhouse you will find in the province "Limburg" in the south of the Netherlands, near the German and Belgium border. The large Limburg homesteads often give the visitor the impression of a closed fortress as a result of the wide coachway in the still wider streetfront of the homestead. Through the coachway we enter the spacious courtyard. Around this courtyard we find the dwellings on the right side, the cow-house and horsestable on the leftside and as well as in the front as back of the homestead are the storage spaces for hay and argicultural products.
