The large or Bavochurch is the largest church in the Dutch city Haarlem, located to the large market. He has been dedicated to Sint-Bavo. The medieval cross church (construction period: 1370-1520) that middle in the old centre of the city stands it has been accelerated in the Gothic construction style. In the middle of on the church bldg. wide 75 meters stands high wooden, with lead covered, late-late-let-Gothic vieringtoren. The church belongs to the top 100 of the Dutch UNESCO-monumenten.
